OUR STRATEGY

Our ambitious 2024-2027 strategy outlines our commitment to the needs of refugees and people seeking asylum.

Building on the insights of our staff, trustees, partners and supporters, it sets out our priorities across four key areas.

1. GROWTH

As the UK’s largest independent hosting charity, we want to scale up to match the needs of our guests and hosts, without sacrificing the quality of their experience with us.

2. OUR GUESTS

We play a unique role in the lives of our guests during a particularly stressful period of their lives. We want to continue to put their needs first and ensure that where appropriate, our relationships continue beyond each placement.

3. OUR HOSTS

Our hosts are instrumental in what we do, and we want them to feel well-equipped and supported throughout their journey. By taking time to listen and act on their feedback, we hope to increase host retention and repeat hosting.

4. OUR OPERATIONS

Our strategy is only possible thanks to our team, and we’ll continue to invest in their wellbeing, personal development, and skills. As the political landscape changes, we’ll adapt accordingly and continue to evaluate what we are doing, and how we can improve.
